Insight into the world of work & STEM careers
15-18 year olds
From Monday to Thursday there will be a focus on career insights into STEM themes and industries that will help your students think about their next step. Each day will be led by a partner company and will include:
- an introduction to their company and what they do
- insight into industry roles and teams
- an opportunity to hear from existing placement students, apprentices and graduates that are based there
- Each day will end with a Q&A ‘Meet the Mentor’ employer panel where students can ask questions
On Friday, we will host a discussion with employers to talk about the creative ways companies are developing virtual work experiences, and EDT’s plans to collaborate with companies for the Spring and Summer of 2021.
Once students complete two of the activities, they can receive their Industrial Cadets Challenger Level award.
