This paper finds possible immune imprinting, which means that being exposed to a previous variant makes it difficult for the immune system to update its immune response when it encounters a new variant. Also, it shows that the T cell response is impaired with Omincron, and that hybrid immunity (infection plus vaccination) doesn’t always provide better protection than vaccination alone.
